I got another request for a wallpaper, yes it is true. Hard to comprehend eh? So i did it, i am running out of steam here and i reckon this might be the last for awhile lol back to photography for me eh. Actually its back to work for me....

Pixie Pond..alas another wallpaper.

I doubt this set of wallpapers will have many fans...as if the others did! But i like them and thats what counts. This one is "Pixie Pond" A complex mess of flowers, butterflies(and others) lace and sky. Too me its like a kids drawing, messy and nothing needs to make any sense.
I have had some questions on how i am doing these wallpapers, well i use adobe elements 4.0 an oldie but a goodie and i source for brushes and textures from free online sites.
SIDEBAR- they may look alike but there are some tiny differences between the two..i cant decide between the two so i posted both.

Hmm...need i say it? AGAIN

I did the first little wallpaper for my friend "The Pin" i reckon he will enjoy its "artistic" value as well as recall the figure in red from our past.. The second i did for someone else who asked for a black and white one. Note the similarities, with all my wallpapers. When i like something i really like something.

I am sure i will be doing this in other colours . The blue and the green are actually the correct size, Sherwin mentioned that he had to make adjustments and i went back and checked and found i had made a mistake. so all my earlier wallpappers are a little over sized.

Mayang Sari

We went to Bintan over the weekend, it was a very nice trip and a good time was had by all. The weather was very good and the water was perfect, cool, calm and clear. My little jungle baby had a wonderful time stayed up late, ate rubbish and was covered from head to toe in sand and i might add she was a hit with the Indonesians. A great family outing, with only the Gammy and Granpa missing! This was Caitlin's second trip overseas(since birth) the last time she was in Bintan she was still in her mummy's belly. Such a lucky girl, not even 15months and she has been on a plane to Thailand and a ferry to Indonesia. Thanks to the organizers and our special sponsors!

When i started this blog who knew that i would keep it up, i figured it would run for a couple of weeks at most and fade away like millions of others and yet 2yrs later its still here. Though fading away is always a possibility.

Two years, a flick of a switch and everything has changed life is as different as it is the same. Through this blog you my few loyal friends yes the 3 of you(who must really be bored by now) have seen, life and death, birds and bees, dogs and cats, family and friends and of course buildings buildings buildings. I have ranted on the death penalty and the press to architecture and my job. All of it has been as uniformed as possible but none of it has been a lie. At times i have used this blog in "silence" and just posted pictures of whatever i saw, a nice butterfly, pepper sleeping on my desk, Tloml at the beach, of Caitlin all over the place, of things both big and small like toy soldiers and coffee cups to elephants and great buildings.

I have enjoyed taking pictures and the people i have gone on my little local adventures with, my Doo & Moo, my Bil, my friends who follow me on my hair brain schemes to photograph yet another old and musty building. My wife who has to put up with me and my camera all the time. Sungei Buloh, Seletar, Dempsy road, Ubin, st johns, Lazarus, china town, little India, maxwell road, Arab street and of course my favorite the Zoo. These are a few of the places i have posted pictures from(not as exciting as Iraq or Spain but hey i am on a budget). This blog like my photography has been a therapeutic tool, its an easy outlet for expression, i recommend it highly and have done so since my first post.
I enjoy reading comments that people leave behind, albeit it is the same loyal people who do, people who take the time out to look at my blog and actually say something that means alot to me.
So for now lets see if we can go on another 2 years.

ten minutes

I have not been taken any pictures lately, aside for the Caitlin pics. I have been carrying my camera around but just could not bring myself to use it. Today while waiting for the bus i decided to take a few pictures. I call this series ten minutes, cause all the shots were taken within ten minutes. b(title of each picture is above it)
