Sigma DC18-200mm 3.5-6.3
Above, an edited version of the below pic..not a very good edit i think i need to get my photoshop specialist involved..
Traded in my sigma 70-300 for an 18-200...walkabout lens. Did a test run today and i feel its a good trade. This is probably my largest post ever. My original for this post was "Street Characters" I took around 130 shots today and i think i have more to post...The pictures i have chosen may not technically good or artistic but to me they tell a little story about unexpected street life in a small area of a small country.

Saturday, on a train to see a train station.REJECTED PICS
As i mentioned in my earlier post, i took 166 shots on Saturday which is about average for a little walkabout..average for me. And for me to put 10photographs on my blog doesn't mean they are all good but just better than the un-posted ones. So today i decided to post some of the rejects.
I rejected the first pic of the cobbler cause i felt that you couldn't see his occupation and that was not my intention
The second and third pictures i felt just didn't cut it, a gut feel is all i went on
The last picture i actually liked but i used a different one cause you could see more of the guys face, though i reckon either one would have been fine.

Saturday, on a train to see a train station.
On Saturday the boys and decided to go and take some pictures. We had a couple of options but the majority voted for the Malaysian Railway station in Tanjong Pagar..I took 166 shots of which here are a few. I am sure i will post more as you may note i have very few of the actual station as while we causally taking photographs we were approached by a Malaysian policeman and informed that no photography was allowed in the station. I did get more then a few shots of the old building though and i will post them soon.
